I'm going through an old journal and trying to put some ideas out there. One of my resolutions for the new year is to start my ideas anew. So don't be surprised. This is an OC team in a OC verse.
A team that operates mostly in South America, but occasionally in places such as the USA, China, and other large countries. They're on of the few superhero teams who are allowed to operate out of the VPA's control. Their base is in an undisclosed location in Caracas, Venezuela.

Bella Perkins is the teams' benefactor and the best friend of Reject, or Cathy Kate. She is the co-head of Kilpatrick franchise and buildings. Although she has no powers, she has slightly above average combat skills and a high intellect. In my mind she has long blonde hair and tanned, athletic figure. In high school she was one of the 'popular' kids and the captain of the cheerleading team. Her mother was a famous model who died of a drug overdose. She doesn't know who her father was, but she assumes that he was one of her mother's many boyfriends.
Hyper, or Bryce Kilpatrick is the head of Kilpatrick Real-estate Co. and the cousin of Bella Perkins. Although he is supposed to be in charge of his company, he has below average intelligence and therefore allows his cousin to make decisions. He has ADHD, but he is an excellent combatant in both armed and unarmed combat. He has super strength and speed, and his team often count on him to make leadership choices, although he often has to call Bella to help him out. His parents died in a drunk driving incident, and since then his reputation was slammed by the paparazzi, first for having ADHD, and later for his heroic exploits.
Reject, or Cathy Kate is one of the founders of New Horizon. She has the power to fly and travel through dimensions and realities. When she was five years old her mother committed suicide by shooting herself tin the head in front of her daughter. When she was seven years old a man named Clark Richards adopted her because she reminded him of Jane, his first daughter who had died in a car crash five years ago. At first Clark raised Cathy by himself, until his wife, Linda, who had been hospitalized since the car crash, was discharged. Upon seeing Cathy's likeness to Jane, Linda became convinced that Cathy was really her dead daughter. If Cathy ever did anything that individualized her from Jane, Linda would become abusive. After only two months of having his wife home, Clark secretly had her sent to a mental institution in Seattle. Cathy, who was at that point fourteen, had begun to feel protective and sympathetic towards Linda. She was often bullied and harassed at her school for being a lesbian and for living with the insane Linda. She left her old town to live with Clark's sister in Seattle after one of her tormentors went too far and raped her. She gained her powers when she was caught in a crossfire between the Lord Conqueror and Truce. She is a petite redhead and works as a model, much to Bella's concern.
Toxin, or Shawn Domer used to work as a toxicologist in Nova Scotia before a jealous colleague attempted to kill him using experimental drugs. However, instead of killing Shawn, the toxins altered his body chemistry rendering him unable to touch an object without completely contaminating it. For a while, Shawn locked himself in a nearly impenetrable cell until Carl Burke, his former friend, convinced him to find the person responsible for his condition, only to find it to be his once fiancee. After that, Shawn and Carl began to work for the VPA. They later joined New Horizon after Shawn's sister, Lillian, requested that they work with the NH for the sole purpose of being able to spend more time with her girlfriend, Cathy.
Stupor, or Carl Burke, has the ability to phase through any wall, including mental walls. His powers are thought to be a natural ability. As a child, he was Shawn's neighbor, however Carl often excluded Shawn, until he witnessed Shawn use coke and Mentos to create a foam volcano. Intrigued by the simple science, Carl began to hang out with Shawn, despite his other friends' protests that he was becoming too nerdy.
